Ubaid finally asked, and the stalled deal moved

The BeBetter Playbook, August 26, 2026

Some weeks the rep that lands hardest is the one that sounds like nothing. Last week that was a bed, and it pulled more reaction than anything else in the group. Which is a good sign, because the small ones are the ones people actually do.

This week's rep: “Make Your Bed Before You Leave the Room”

The task was what it sounds like. Make your bed, properly, not halfway. Then tomorrow, do it before you walk out of the room instead of sometime later when you happen to pass back through. It takes two minutes and nobody claps. It won't change your life by Friday, and that's exactly why it's a good rep.

Why it works: You start the day having finished something, and you did it without waiting to feel like it first. Discipline gets built in the boring stuff nobody sees, which makes a made bed a better test than a big plan.

Your rep today: Make your bed, properly, before you leave the room. Then notice how it feels to follow through.

The win: Ubaid

Ubaid had a deal that kept sliding. Not dead, just delayed again and again for one reason after another. He'd had the reason to call for weeks. What he didn't have was the two minutes of nerve to do it, until the rep gave him a push. So he called the person directly and asked for the sale. In his words, “that conversation has brought the deal very close to being closed.” The deal hadn't needed a better pitch. It needed someone to ask. Same size of action as making a bed, and the same two minutes of doing the thing instead of thinking about it for another week.

Like this? You're getting one rep a week.

The Playbook is one rep a week. Inside the movement it's one a day, with a group that keeps you going, for a dollar a month. No rush, no catch. Come take a look when it feels right.
